01 / Hardware

Hardware

Boom gates, roller doors, smart bollard control, ANPR/LPR cameras, ticketless payment kiosks taking contactless and tap-to-pay, and access control — supplied and installed new, or integrated with equipment you already have, regardless of brand or vendor. Gated, gateless or mixed: plate-based entry can run a site with the barriers up, with them down, or with some lanes each way. We design across any hardware stack, so modernizing your site can be fast, cost-effective, and free of unnecessary equipment replacement.

02 / Software

Software

Management platforms developed directly with your team and implemented around your workflows, built specifically for how your operation runs. Includes:

  • A management dashboard tailored to how your team monitors and runs sites day to day
  • Customer self-service portals, digital permits, season passes, parking reservations and event bookings
  • Digital parking validations for retail and commercial tenants — coupons issued and redeemed in the system rather than stamped on paper, and reported on per tenant
  • Visitor management for residential apartments
  • Configurable enforcement, payment, and access workflows matched to your operational rules
  • Role-based access so staff see and do only what's relevant to their job
  • Custom mobile apps under your own brand, when needed
03 / AI

AI & Automation

  • LPR (License Plate Recognition) and AI-powered CCTV occupancy monitoring
  • Intelligent enforcement and access control powered by your existing or upgraded cameras
  • Real-time parking session management and whitelist/blacklist management
  • Predictive maintenance alerts that flag equipment issues before they cause downtime
  • Automated workflows for permits, reservations, and reconciliation — cutting the manual work your team currently absorbs
04 / IoT

IoT & Sensors

  • Tap-to-pay and mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), contactless cards, QR code, pay-by-plate and unattended payments
  • Live camera monitoring and EV charging integration
  • Bay-level occupancy sensors and real-time space monitoring, feeding live space counts for guidance and wayfinding
  • Connected infrastructure across multiple sites, unified into one view
  • Custom integration with existing sensor hardware where available
05 / Integrations

Integrations

  • Seamless connections with business platforms such as HubSpot, Xero, Stripe, and Windcave
  • Automated customer management, accounting, and payment reconciliation
  • Pay-by-plate and digital payment gateways
  • CRM, ERP, facilities management, and other third-party platform integrations, connected exactly how you need them
06 / Reporting

Reporting & Analytics

  • Real-time operational dashboards covering revenue, occupancy, enforcement, and compliance
  • Custom reporting formats matched to how your business actually measures performance
  • Visibility across every site from a single view, on any device
07 / Modernization

Existing Stack Review & Modernization

If you already have hardware and software in place, we start with a full review of your current stack — what's working, what's holding you back, and where you're paying for limitations you don't have to live with. From there, we design a clear path to a modern, connected system: streamlining operations, reducing manual work, and integrating your existing hardware wherever it still makes sense.

If you're stuck in vendor lock-in, running on legacy systems, or unsure how to move forward without a costly, disruptive overhaul, this is exactly where we help. We handle the transition — data migration, integration, staff onboarding, and a phased rollout — so you can move onto a progressive technology stack without the hassle, and without losing what already works.

08 / Municipal

City, Council & Municipal Parking Solutions

Compliance-ready workflows built to local regulatory requirements, designed to modernize aging infrastructure through a smooth, phased upgrade — for city, county, and municipal parking programs across the US and Australia.

Common questions

What operators ask before they start

01

Do we have to replace the gates and cameras we already have?

No. Kolabrata is hardware-agnostic and integrates across any brand of boom gate, roller door, barrier, bollard or camera. Equipment that still works stays, and only what actually needs upgrading gets replaced — which is usually the difference between a modernization and a rip-and-replace.

02

What is ANPR or LPR, and do you supply it?

ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition), also called LPR (Licence Plate Recognition), reads vehicle plates at entry and exit so a car park can run ticketless. Kolabrata supplies ANPR/LPR cameras and can also run recognition on cameras you already have, driving entry, occupancy counting and enforcement from the same feed.

03

Can you run a gateless or barrierless car park?

Yes. Entry is plate-based, so a site can run with the barriers down, with them raised, or with a mix of lanes — gated, gateless and hybrid all run on the same platform, and a site can move between them later without replacing the system. Which one fits depends on the site, and it is one of the things the discovery audit works out.

04

Can one platform run multiple car parks?

Yes. A portfolio runs from a single dashboard, readable across every site at once or one car park at a time, covering occupancy, sessions, revenue and compliance. Permits, passes and blacklist changes are made once and take effect at the barrier.

05

Do you handle visitor parking for residential and apartment buildings?

Yes. Visitor management for residential apartments is part of the platform, alongside digital permits, season passes, reservations and event bookings — so residential sites and commercial car parks can run in the same system.

06

What payment methods can drivers use?

Tap-to-pay and mobile wallets including Apple Pay and Google Pay, contactless cards, QR code payments, pay-by-plate and unattended payments at the kiosk or the gate — plus season passes and digital permits for regulars, and validations where a tenant is covering the visit. Payments are processed through Stripe and Windcave and reconcile into your accounting system without re-keying.

07

Will it connect to our accounting, CRM and payment providers?

Yes. Kolabrata integrates with business platforms including HubSpot, Xero, Stripe and Windcave, so customer records, invoicing, payments and reconciliation stay in step instead of being re-keyed between systems.

08

Do you handle parking validations for retail and commercial tenants?

Yes. Validations are issued and redeemed digitally rather than stamped on paper: a tenant validates a visitor's session in the system, and redemptions are reported per tenant so you can see who is issuing what. They run on the same records as permits, passes, bookings and payments, so validated sessions reconcile with everything else.

09

Do you work with councils and municipal parking?

Yes. For operators running council and public land, workflows are built to local regulatory and compliance requirements, with the reporting that public-land contracts usually require.

10

Do you support EV charging and occupancy sensors?

Yes. EV charging integration, bay-level occupancy sensors, real-time space monitoring, QR and unattended payments and live camera monitoring are all part of the IoT layer.

11

Are we locked into a contract or a single hardware brand?

No. There is no single-brand dependency and no rigid lock-in contract. Costs are agreed upfront, and you work directly with the engineers who design and build the system.

12

Where does Kolabrata operate?

Across the United States and Australia, with local support and an understanding of the regulatory requirements in each market.

13

How does an engagement start?

With a free discovery call. Kolabrata audits your current hardware, software, workflows and pain points across every site — no obligation — then designs the system, builds and integrates it, and stays on for monitoring and support after go-live.
